MESSAGE TO ALL STUDENTS ON THE EMBA PROGRAMME

I hope that this email finds you safe and well.
Your programme is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). The CMI is the only chartered professional body in the UK dedicated to promoting the highest standards in management and leadership excellence and can award Chartered Manager status. The CMI provides forward thinking advice and support to over 150,000 members worldwide, with members ranging from students to CEOs. Their qualifications are recognised internationally, and are a strong indication of your management credentials. Whether you are looking to find the first rung of the Management ladder or are a more seasoned professional looking to progress, CMI has a wealth of tools and advice available to support you throughout your career journey. Some of these tools are –
- Career Development Centre (CV building, Interview simulations)
- Management Direct (their information database)
- Events and Webinars
- Mentor/Mentee opportunities
While you study with us you will be given student membership with CMI, and on completion of your programme you will receive a Level 7 Certificate from the CMI along with 3 months free membership. Student membership is part of your programme, and this is something the Business School organises directly with CMI once we receive permission from you to pass on your contact details to CMI. In order to complete your registration, please complete the attached form as soon as possible and return it to bs-accreditation@abdn.ac.uk by Monday December 7th, 2020 at 12 noon (UK time).
